Interview with Zachary Fisher of Fisher Family Plumbing
Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Fisher
Family Plumbing is a local, family-owned and operated plumbing company
that believes good plumbing shouldn’t come with big-city prices. We take
care of everything from everyday residential plumbing—like clogged
drains,
water heaters, and whole-home repipes—to commercial service work and
new home construction. We’ve been proudly serving our community for the
past three years, and between our team we bring over 55 years of
hands-on experience. Whether it’s a small repair or a big project, we treat every job the way we’d want a neighbor
to treat ours—with care, honesty, and respect.
How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
Zachary
Fisher started his plumbing career with one of the largest plumbing
companies in the Houston area, where he learned how to deliver
top-quality work—but also saw how out of reach that level of service
could be for everyday families. Laura Fisher spent over 20 years in
commercial insurance, working closely with businesses
and developing a strong eye for ethical practices and customer protection. After getting married in 2022, we

realized
we shared the same vision: quality work, done right, at fair and honest
prices. In 2023, that vision became Fisher Family Plumbing.
Tell us a few things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
We’re
proud of the reputation we’ve built for being dependable, honest, and
easy to work with. Our customers know that when they call us, they’ll
get straight answers, fair pricing, and work that lasts. What really
sets us apart is the personal connection. We take the time to explain
what’s going on, walk through options, and make sure people feel
comfortable making decisions for their home. We believe an informed
homeowner is an empowered homeowner. We’re not here for quick fixes or
one-time jobs—we want to be your forever plumber and build relationships
that last for years.
What is your favorite part of running this business?
Without a doubt, it’s the people. We love getting to know the families and business owners in our community and

being
someone they can count on when something goes wrong. Whether it’s an
emergency leak or a long-planned remodel, there’s nothing better than
leaving a job knowing we helped make someone’s day a little easier.
Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
We
work best with homeowners, small business owners, and custom home
builders who value quality work and clear communication. When trust is
built, we’re able to serve our customers long-term—not just for one
repair, but as their go-to plumbing partner for years to come.
Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
Hi,
I’m Zachary Fisher, owner of Fisher Family Plumbing. I’ve been in the
plumbing trade for eight years, and I started this company because I
wanted a business that treats people like people—not just invoices. When
I’m not
on a job, you’ll usually find me coaching my two
seven-year-old boys’ baseball team, hunting or fishing, smoking just
about anything on the smoker, letting my ten-year-old daughter braid my
beard or snuggling up on the couch

for
a good movie with my wife and three dogs (Yes, it's a big couch).
Family means everything to me. Community is an extension of family, and
the trust local families place in me to care for their homes is an honor
I’m deeply grateful for.
Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?
We
love giving back to our community whenever we can. We offer our FFP VIP
Membership Program, which includes 10% off all services, priority
scheduling, annual plumbing inspections, water heater flushes, and more.
We also proudly offer 5% discounts for Senior Citizens and First
Responders. Throughout the year we run
seasonal promotions, so be sure to follow us on Facebook to stay up to date.
Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
At
Fisher Family Plumbing, we’re not just fixing pipes—we’re building
relationships. We show up on time, treat your home with respect, and
stand behind our work every single time. When you call us, you’re
calling a local family that truly cares.
How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
We’re
excited to grow alongside this community. Our plan is to add more
friendly, skilled team members, expand our service area just a bit, and
continue investing in training and better tools so we can serve our
customers even better. No matter how much we grow, we’ll always stay
true to our family values, our small-town mindset, and the neighbors who
trusted us from the very beginning.
