Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Axe-Mania®
is Kingwood’s premier axe-throwing and entertainment venue. We offer
nine interactive lanes with digital-projection targets and more than 18
game modes — from Tic-Tac-Toe to Battleship to Big Game Hunter.
Guests
can enjoy free-play arcade games, a great selection of local beers and
cold drinks, and an environment designed to be comfortable but classy.
Every detail — from lighting to layout — was built to make Folks feel 
relaxed, welcome, and ready for fun.
We
opened in January 2025, and ever since, we’ve been bringin’ the
Kingwood community together for unforgettable, family-friendly
experiences.
How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
We
started Axe-Mania® because we saw an opportunity to bring people
together in a new way. Axe throwing was catching fire across the
country, but most places didn’t have the warmth or comfort we felt it
deserved.
Our goal was simple — create a venue that feels
comfortable but classy, where guests can unwind, laugh, and enjoy an
experience that’s both exciting and welcoming. We built it from the
ground up to be more than just an activity — it’s a place where everyone
that comes in feels like family.
Tell us a couple of things you’re proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
We’re proud that Axe-Mania® has quickly become known as Kingwood’s friendliest, cleanest, and most entertaining spot to throw.
1. Digital-Projection Targets — Our high-tech system makes every throw new and fun, with instant scoring and creative games.

A Comfortable-but-Classy Atmosphere — You’ll notice it the second you
walk in. Clean, stylish, and welcoming — a place you’d bring your
family, your friends, or even your boss.
3. More Than Just Axes — We’ve got free arcade games, great music, and cold drinks to keep the good times rollin’.

Community Heart — We’re proud to be part of Kingwood, not just located
in it. We host fundraisers, church groups, school nights, and company
events where laughter and connection are the real bullseyes.
What’s your favorite part of running Axe-Mania®?
Without
a doubt — it’s the people. Watching guests come in unsure and leave
confident, laughing, and already planning their next visit never gets
old.
Every night brings new stories: first-time throwers nailing a
bullseye, couples cheering each other on, and coworkers high-fiving
like old friends. That’s the magic of this place — everyone that comes
in feels like family.
And
if you happen to meet our mascot Axe-L, the bear behind the brand,
he’ll tell ya the same thing (Howdy Folks!) — there’s nothin’ better
than seein’ smiles and hearin’ laughter ring out across the lanes.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owners? What’s your background?
We’re
a family-run business through and through — born and raised right here
in the Humble and Kingwood area. Our background is rooted in customer
service, leadership, and a shared love for people and community.
When
it comes to axe throwing, we learned from one of the best — two-time
world champion Miguel Tamburini, who trained and certified us as
coaches. That same teaching style and passion now guide everything we
do. We love coaching throwers from ages 8 to 80 and beyond, helping each
one find their confidence and their first bullseye moment.
At
Axe-Mania®, we’re not just about axes and targets — we’re about people,
laughter, and connection. Every visit is designed to be comfortable but
classy and to make sure everyone that comes in feels like family.
