"The Dino Park was a huge scam, and EMCID plowed millions into it...and undoubtedly still is. We're all paying for it with our tax dollars in the things EMCID could have provided, but didn't. "How's the weather there. Has been raining today. I'm in Conroe and it rained earlier today for a couple of hours on and off. But I haven't heard any thunder since this afternoon. The weatherman said it was going to be great weather this week. I hope he's right...."

"I hate those things. When I lived in Louisiana, my DH and I were going to a restaurant that was down a long road. I remember there was thousands of them on the road and you could just hear them crunch when you drove the car over ..it was so disgusting. I have never seen them since then. But I know they're coming here soon...."

I had never been around a flooded house till my daughter's house flooded. The clean-up, the drying out, then having to deal with contractors - what a mess! Plus it was all out of pocket. They had lived there 20 years and never flooded before...."

I carry it. I've never flooded but Thursday during the flash flood it was about 2 feet in rise from making it in from the street. Sure, I shouldn't flood but I know that if even an inch made it in it would cost me 20k+ most likely.
I've worked in the flood world most of my life and I've seen it all. I wouldn't go without it..."

@Jt8 8888888 : Absolutely! My DD's house flooded in Imelda. They had just done a lot of work on it, but didn't have flood insurance. After that, they now have flood insurance...."
