Any Cicada updates?
I know it's early, but I really thought I heard them this morning. There's been lots of noises - thunder, frogs, and who knows what else. Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard Cicadas yet

@Cbear : And you're thinking, 'That's enough!' We don't need no bugs singing.

@Bloom , with a little luck, those little suckers'll drown. They make the most annoying fingernails-on-blackboard racket.

@otto : I agree! That's why I was concerned when I thought I heard them.

@Jt88888888 : From what I've read, there will be. I really don't think they're here yet.

I hate those things. When I lived in Louisiana, my DH and I were going to a restaurant that was down a long road. I remember there was thousands of them on the road and you could just hear them crunch when you drove the car over ..it was so disgusting. I have never seen them since then. But I know they're coming here soon.

@Sweetie , @Bloom , @Cbear : I hope this link isn't behind a paywall. The map shows that the two broods expected this year are mostly north and east of Texas. We'll get some, but not a lot.
