Ohhh, I wonder if they would let us go hunting....would be good practice since there aren't any outdoor ranges nearby! LOL

Where they are at is not far from the park. How ever they are removed from the property I'm not interested in...just that they are.

I would like to be able to help get rid of them (freezer is getting empty). Plus they can be dangerous...I know they have been around this area for quite sometime. Like I said previously...used to hunt the land that is now Tavola.

I just found this site and thought I'd chime in. We are closing on our home in Tavola on the 29th and moving in on the 30th.....couldn't be more excited (well, except for the packing part).

@proudtexasmom - thank you! We are moving from Kingwood, it's getting so difficult for the hubby to just get OUT of here in the mornings, this will be a welcomed change for him.

@froggie - Yep! We lived in Walden. Hubby works in the Woodlands and the drive was a nightmare. You will love the quite, traveling the highway for most things. You have to get used to things not being convenient to get to and nothing stays open past nine (ie stores and pharmacy's). Walgreen's is our "go-to" in a pinch. But not having to deal with 1960 and LHPW is worth it. I dread going back over there now. Hope all goes well with your closing.

@proudtexasmom - I hope so too, we are doing back to back closings on the same day....yikes! The sale of our current home is a cash deal so everything should be ok. We are coming from Mills Branch, it's been really great and we love our neighbors but since the kids are grown and gone, there isn't a need for a two story home. It just makes sense with the traffic as well. Super excited here, I've been decorating the new place in my sleep....LOL

Welcome Froggie. So far no real issues here. The commute, while longer in distance, is much faster. We lived in Kingwood and glad we left. They should begin widening Nirthpark soon and traffic will be a nightmare for the Kingwood folks.

@JuanSolo - That's nice to hear there are no issues, the only thing I see will be putting up with construction as they finish the houses on our street, no biggie there. I didn't know there were plans to widen North Park, I'm glad we are getting out now!

We closed on our house on 10-29 and have moved in. We put our noses to the grind and got everything unpacked in 5 days. I love it here!
