@Prey521 Yes, a lot more. My bill before the rain we had was a hair over $200 and that's with 3 people. They charge you for water and sewage and the sewage rate is the same as the water rate, doubling your bill. You are charged for sewage when you water your yard.

one thing I forgot to mention on the bill it also includes $15 for law enforcement. We do see the Roman Forest officers driving through the neighborhood quite often

My electric bill is about $65 for 23 days. I can manage that considering its always 76 during the day and 74 at night and we are horrible at turning stuff off. We also have a 72 gallon and 14 gallon saltwater fish tank with T5 grow lights that are energy hogs.

@nicole4647 That's actually pretty cheap. Which electric provider are you using?

@Prey521 So far as I know there isn't any option on electric provider in our part of the world -- it's Entergy or nuthin'.

@otto That doesn't sound right at all, you should be able to pick whichever provider services that area. Let me check the MyLennar portal, since I can now request services....this doesn't make sense.

@otto I just checked the MyLennar page and it redirects me to the PowerToChoose website where I can pick the Electric provider. My current provider told me that they can transfer the service to the new address once we move....not sure why you think that Entergy is the only option, unless I am missing something.

Where are you moving from? Most of the Houston area is in the Centerpoint TDU, and you can choose your provider in that TDU. Roman Forest (and Tavola) are outside that TDU. So far as I know, Entergy is the only game in town. If you learn otherwise, please let me know.

It was energy or nothing. So we have energy. We may have different rates since we have been with them 4 years. I have no clue though. It just auto drafts out of my bank account so I never see it.

Finally got notice that we close on the 30th of July, sweet!!

Oh and I found out about the whole electricity provider issue. Turns out that Montgomery County falls out of ERCOT's jurisdiction, so you can't use the PowerToChoose.org site to select a provider, even though it's on the Lennar website SMH!!!! Entergy has a monopoly on Montgomery County, so it's the only option you can pick, as you guys mentioned earlier. Their rates actually aren't bad, so it's not too big a deal.
