As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Darren Frankenberger, owner of Rosati's Pizza Kingwood

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer and how long have you been around?
Rosati's is a full-service restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Offering authentic Chicago-style pizzas, pasta and the

biggest wings in town with a full bar too. How do you define "Chicago-style"? Folks from the Windy City dispute whether Chicago-style is represented by a thin crust or a deep dish known as a pie with thick crust, loads of cheese, toppings and then the sauce. Rosati's offers both! We are so grateful to all the folks that helped us thrive in this location and just celebrated our first year in business.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
After trying Rosati's Dough Nuggets (deep-fried pizza dough tossed in garlic butter), Monster pizza (everything on it but the kitchen sink), Zeppole for dessert (deep-fried pizza dough dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of Nutella and experiencing the amazing Rosati culture, it was time to learn more. After careful consideration, it was decided we just had to bring a Rosati's franchise to our community and hand-picked this location.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the

competition?
Proud to be locally-owned, hands-on, with the best repeat customers that keep coming back for our phenomenal food and outstanding service. One regular popped in to grab dinner to-go and shared "Never had a bad meal, love the family atmosphere and I'm back every week". And his favorite item on the menu? "Everything!" What is your favorite part of running this business?
The people. I love interacting with each and everyone of the folks that stop by Rosati's and help us create this community destination.

Who is your target market or ideal customer/client?
If you appreciate good food and good service you should stop by and experience what it's like to be a guest at Rosati's.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
From waitstaff, bartenders and management, people shared that the Rosati's leadership has a heart for hospitality. Ask the staff about Darren "The Man" (short for Managing Member) and they are quick to share that he is big-

hearted, hard working, husband and father of three, hands-on, entrepreneurial and present. Professionally, Darren comes form a diverse professional background and is adept at finding a need and staying true to his core value of helping others.
