Rockwall, bowling, trampoline park, actual arcade, indoor skate park theres alot that they can fit inside a store the size of sams.

What the heck...just convert it over to a Walmart...after all, the other two are a horribly long drive of almost 4 miles... :[

I wonder of the one on Market place is going to close. I am fixing to start working at that one. I sure hope not.

In the Houston Chronicle: Employees learned of the closings in person as they arrived for work early Thursday. They will receive 60 days of severance pay, including raises and bonuses announced by parent company Walmart on Thursday. Affected employees will be considered for other positions within the company, a spokeswoman said. Sam's Club employees, you are entitled to this after the shock you received this morning.

@Sellers001 I don't think this includes the CROSSMARK employees. We do the samples.

@LisaKnox Ah... I know of the company you work for. I am hoping that your store location won't close. I have been looking over the news sites from the different states they closed in and it looks like they closed them simultaneously in different areas.The Walmart company, according to a Business Insider article, is going to close even more stores but I am hopeful that because your store didn't close today it won't close soon.Let us know how you fare. Crossmark will probably be able to find you another position; hopefully close to where you live.

@LisaKnox The one being closed is next to a Kroger Marketplace but the shopping center is called Valley Ranch Town Center. What is the physical address of the one you got hired to work at?

@Prey521 The Sam's rep I just spoke to said they will be reselling or leasing the building eventually.

Bad news. We just moved into the area and that was a selling point for us having the new shopping center with plenty of stores so we did not have to drive far. Sams was probably most important of them.

@Nacho626 Costco is less than 15 minutes away, so that's not bad.
