I happen to be one of those yuppie scumbags that recently moved to the area. I didn’t attend Rock the Ranch, because, like you, I didn’t care for the entertaintent lineup or the ticket prices. Be careful. You may have more in common with the yuppie scumbags who allegedly corrupted your small town. Peace and long life to you, neighbor.

That's why we're getting the hell out of here. We're gonna move to another county where the corruption is legit and transparent! LOL!

Advertising & Marketing: $115,400 and yet so many, like me did not even know the event was taking place until after it happened. What a shame.

I didn't have a problem with the line up because it was a little something for everyone and I am not going to judge anyone for the type of music they enjoy. Plus the rap artist that was in the line up posed no 'rowdiness' at all like I have read on some of the comments. Hell the rap artist are actually considered 'crossover' rap artist. I have in the past heard their music on all different radio stations and tv shows. I actually prefer the old 'cleaner' rap. I also love Sundance. Rather you want to face it or not Porter/NC is culturally changing and is not the secluded ducked off country it use to be. My problems were with the ticket prices and the advertisement. It would have been about $400 for my family and I, which is ridiculous! Had I heard about it sooner and the tickets were cheaper, we would have attended, along with several of my coworkers from different backgrounds.

I think you're missing my point . It's not about the rappers or the musical guests. Its about wasting tax payers money o n an over priced show nobody even knew was going to happen . Then to Assume

My comment was not directed at just one person, so I don't understand why you are taking my comment so personal. I am not missing your point, I just did not mention it, but I understand about the taxes.
