Where are the nice restaurants? Pei Wei, good Italion Restaurants Macaroni Grill , Salada, children's Museum, Chipolte. Beck's Prime Hamburger. They have the best Black Bean Burger and Burgers. Really Good Mexicsn Chuy's, Pappacita's, Guadalahara.

@lujanm123We go to Lake Houston Park off 1485 and walk the trails there. They have a creek the kids swim in with picnic tables and showers. They have a small wildlife center where the kids like to go look at the fish and turtles, the snakes and frogs and learn about all the animals and animal tracks.

I would like to see a HEB, RainForest Cafe, or some clothing stores like Khols or TJmax, some more sit down places to eat. A movie theater.

@Paris37 : I was told that an HEB would be going in on the other side of the Parkway from Town Center. Also a Cinemark theater is signed up for Town Center.

@HarleyRider :Yessss! hopefully it will carry more than the HEB further down 99. I doubt it though

I would love a Sam Moons and a Cabela's.

Do U think that all anyone in Porter/New Caney wants or can afford is fast food or a chain restaurant. This area is begging for some upscale eating alternatives besides Mexican or BBQ. It would be nice to have upscale stores also.Something like La Cantera (Cinco Ranch) or Hughes Landing (Woodlands) would have been nice. I think we have every fast food restaurant in 5 mile radius!

A jc penny would be nice!
