Droughts can often make flooding worse. The worst is saturated soils just prior to heavy rainfall, but when drought conditions it often runs off and causes some harm.

If it rains where you are it can flood. Trust me, I've seen it about everywhere.

Have flood insurance and always put your life over property. The insurance can take care of all that

Definitely want to make sure you have that flood insurance, homeowners insurance typically won't cover the flood!
