I believe it's gonna be this. Sign has been there for quite a while, guess they finally got started. Right now I just see a slab of concrete, but none of the usual pvc pipes in it for water, sewer, etc...Soooo, who knows...
Holy cow; is this an article for the demolition of what was there?! Looky, what I found! It talks about the storage tanks. Can someone please look at this picture and tell us if this is the same truck stop we heard was at that particular intersection? The article doesn't give an exact location in New Caney. Article is from September 2008 which means I had already been in the area; but I surely don't remember this.
@otto : It was a truck stop and it closed down and set there till they cleared it for the Walmart,but it set for a long time before they built the new Walmart truck stop had really good food.We used to go and eat there.It was the only place to eat at in New Caney Restaurant wise.Had really good country fried steaks.
