"yes, please start a petition! I would love to have an HEB closer than the 12 miles I have to drive now. Since the Kingwood HEB is so far away, I shop there only every 2 weeks or so and have to settle on other stores closer to home. So sad!..."

"There was never a plan to keep non-residents out of the Roman Forest splash pad. The first three letters of EMCID stand for "East Montgomery County." All area folks are welcome.
Roman Forest tax dollars do go to support the city's swimming pool. Non-residents are welcome to use the pool, but there is a higher fee for season passes for non-residents. I think that's fair...."

"Figures.... They got the Super Kroger store to build there and probably have something in the contract regarding other big-box grocery stores. I'd like to see an H.E.B. go in too, but it's most likely not going to be in Valley Ranch Town Center. I've heard that H.E.B. prefers to build on their own land. X your fingers...."
