Battery operated fly swatter
DD has been dealing with fruit flies in the house most of the summer. They've tried many home remedies as well as chemicals. She finally ordered battery operated fly swatters, and hopes that will help. She said her DH is having fun with it. Hope they have a supply of batteries!

Uggghh, the flies are awful!!! I always have a fly swatter within arms reach wherever I am in the house!! They are the bane of my existence!!🤣🤣🤣

Those are fun for flies and mosquitos. Have her look at Zevo if she has not already. It's a little UV light and and sticky pad trap that works well. Our daughter turned us on to it and it works well.

@LyleLanley : Any opinion on how either might work on wasps? I bravely killed one in the kitchen with wasp spray a few days ago, but had a ness to clean up.

If it will fit through the mesh and get zapped then it's great. For the wasp inside the house I think a standard fly seater is my weapon of choice. But I love the nuclear option as last resort!

I am so scared of wasps! DH was napping. I called a handy neighbor, but he didn't answer. The spray worked once I decided it was up to me to alleviate the problem, but it was messy.
