Time to clean out the freezer!
Just a reminder to try to use what's in the freezer and not fill it up again during hurricane season. If you've ever had to clean out a fridge/freezer after days of no power, you know what I mean.

@otto : I know! I would love to have a generator, but my DH won't agree to it. We've had the discussion a few times.

@Bloom : In the past three years we've racked up 243 hours of runtime -- that's more than 10 cumulative days of power outages. Believe me, the cost is worth it.

Love my generator, but it's always a good idea to work through the freezer. I try every now and then to dwindle down what I have before I refill it.

Cycle through the freezer and refill. Eat from the freezer when the power is out. Team generator member.

That is not Olaf.
He is comfortable whether CenterPoint delivers or not.
This should be a no brainer for those who can afford it.
Olaf has no empathy for those who don't do everything they can to make their lives easier.
