Lavanderia Express Celebrates One-Year Anniversary with Heartfelt Thanks to Community

Porter, TX – Lavanderia Express, a modern and family-friendly laundromat located at 24183 US Hwy 59 in Porter, TX, is proudly celebrating its one-year anniversary, a major milestone for this immigrant-owned small business that has quickly become a local favorite.

Founded by Rajesh Sapkota and Sadhana Sharma Luetel, Lavanderia Express was born from a dream shared by two immigrants who wanted to build more than just a laundromat, they wanted to create a clean, welcoming space where people felt cared for and respected.

“One year later, thanks to the support of our incredible customers, we’ve grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined,” said co-owner Rajesh. “We’ve expanded our folding space, added a kids’ corner, introduced drop-off laundry service, and even started supporting local businesses. Every improvement came directly from what our customers asked for, and we listened.”

The laundromat has developed a strong reputation for cleanliness, service, and community care.

“Lavanderia Express is hands down the best laundromat experience I’ve had! The place is ALWAYS clean. It feels more like a hangout spot than going to do a chore,” wrote Kesia S., a local Google reviewer who uses the Wash-Dry-Fold service.

In a follow-up review, she added: “We’ve been to hundreds of laundromats and this was by far the cleanest, brightest, nicest one we’ve seen. The employee was super helpful, and our clothes came out great.”

The owners credit their growth not just to hard work, but to the people who’ve embraced the business from day one.

“This anniversary is a celebration of our customers,” said Sadhana. “We came to this country with a vision, and now we get to live it every day, because of the people who continue to support us.”

To mark the occasion, Lavanderia Express is hosting a community appreciation event with treats, prizes, and family fun.
