Copa Rayados Internacional Tournament 2023

HTX Soccer aligned with it's newest partner C.F. Monterrey Rayados by supporting the Copa Rayados Internacional Tournament, November 22-26, 2023. Three hundred and forty (340) teams were present at the home of HTX Soccer which included participation from domestic and international top level competition.

“This was an extremely exciting and professionally hosted tournament with some superb competition from across the country and internationally," said Coach Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director.  "To be able to play this level of competition on home soil without extensive travel is very much appreciated by our teams and families over the Thanksgiving holiday period.  It was also used as part of the first identification process within this exclusive partnership with C.F. Monterrey Rayados."

"Another great tournament by Copa Rayados with great facilities and competition," said Coach Gutierrez, ECNL-RL North Director.  "Our ECNL-RL 09B had an opportunity to play some very strong teams from areas that we do not see in our regular league play. International teams from El Salvador and Mexico were our part of the schedule as well as teams from Texas and out of state.  After a slow start to the tournament, the team did a great job to finish strong and won the consolation championship."

"We just completed the 11th Annual Copa Rayados Internacional, and are very pleased with the success of this year’s tournament," said Scott Spencer, Tournament Director. "With 340 teams, including 75 international teams plus teams from across the country, it’s an important part in the growth strategy of Monterrey Rayados.  The competition has never been better!  This builds and strengthens our partnership with HTX Soccer as Monterrey expands its initiatives in the Houston market."
