Happy Mother’s Day Month!
We
all need a female to be present in this world. Most of us would be
affected if we think about saying goodbye to our mothers, if you haven’t
had to experience that already. Whereas others have held the hands of
our mommas while their body stayed behind and their spirit left this
earth. It’s hard to think about leaving our kids behind, as mothers,
too. Take a look at the number one killer among women in America just a
few short years ago!
Cardiovascular disease is NOT just a man's disease.
Here is what the Cleveland Clinic said: “Cardiovascular
disease is the number one killer of women over age 25 in the United
States, regardless of race or ethnicity. The death rate from
cardiovascular diseases has decreased among men but continues to
increase in women. Unfortunately, only 1 in 3 women identify
cardiovascular disease as the greatest health problem facing women
today. Most women think that cancer is the leading cause of death in
women. But, cardiovascular disease is the single leading cause of death
for women in America and claims the lives of more women than all forms
of cancer combined.”
So whether you’re a young momma or a seasoned one, FULL of wisdom, your health matters and your kids need you!
