Woman with gun sitting in middle of I45

My friend was coming home that way, but she was able to get off on a feeder road. She said traffic was bumper-to-bumper on the feeder road. It took her almost 2 hours longer to get home. She said if she would've stayed on 45 It would've taken her about five hours. That woman sat in that street for almost 5 1/2 hours. they said that she's mentally ill. I don't know why they didn't get her removed before then I know she had a gun. They said she had it pointed at her head. But geez, that's a long time. I'm praying she gets the help she needs.

It's a sad story overall. Very say, but I hate she put so many at risk.Hope she gets help and I hope the police make plans on how to better handle

It is just a sad story. Our mental health system is just broken.

Glad it ended with no physical harm to anyone. But what a nightmare on the freeway!

A cry for Help…

fatheadedkevin : I'm sure that's why no hasty decisions were made. No charges were filed, and she is getting a mental health evaluation. Hopefully, she will get the help she needs.
