Leading the outlet leasing is TORG, a firm touting 30 years of national experience in outlet malls and leasing. Working with TORG, The Signorelli Company, developer of Valley Ranch, has created a new concept for outlets. They are moving away from the conventional model to a new mixed-use, interactive approach for pedestrians, blending synergistic components such a restaurants, entertainment and traditional retail.

The Valley Ranch Outlets will be located on the south side of the Grand Parkway (99), across from VRTC.

I wonder how long it will take for greedy Houston to try to grab the tax benefits from Montgomery County. Things are moving right along here, and census counts will be increasing. But it's wonderful to see so many new businesses opening up. It's been a long time coming.

I am hoping their will be a big hotel so we don't have to go into Houston to have our big gala event with over 500 guests.

It is nice to see this side of town starting to grow but along with the growth will come other problems. One main problem will be the traffic. It is already a nightmare to travel Ford Road anymore. Seems since Harvey there is a lot more traffic. I live near Porter Elementary and it has taken 10 minutes to get onto Ford Road then another 5 to 10 minutes depending on the time of day to get from the little store on Ford to 494. Just tonight traffic was backed up so bad on 494 that Traffic coming from 59 was at a dead stop almost as soon as you turned onto 1314. It took 23 minutes to go from 59 and 1314 to the Right Food Market on Ford Road. We are growing but the roads are not. All the traffic that will be created in the Valley Ranch area and 242 and 59 you have the Water Park along eventually a Amusement Park which if it is any good wil create a Traffic nightmare if the County and State do not get off their butts and get some roads widened out to handle the traffic. They are at least widening out 242. I moved to Porter 23 years ago for the peace and quiet now with all the new businesses and home sites looks like I need to move a lot farther out. It is nice to have the Cities comforts but I like my peace and quiet also. Do not mind driving the extra miles to get what I need from the city.

And here I was mad when the Flyin J at 242 created light pollution so I couldn't enjoy the stars as well.

As a side note Loop 494 was well built. Maybe we haven't had the cold weather, but for it's age it is still a smooth ride.

Country Colony - Ford Rd. to 494 Traffic is a beast! I have been taking Needham or Perkins around . I dont really care for "Outlet" stores much. I thought a Hospital complex was going to go on the South Side of 99.

@carol888 : The group building Valley Ranch Town Center has plans for a MASSIVE medical district across Grand Parkway at the corner of 59 & Grand Parkway. The outlets are planned west of that area. Read this and you will be amazed....

@carol888 : They have their first partner as well. Chi St. Luke's Children's... The medical district is going to be big, about 2/3 the size of Valley Ranch Town Center. The Town Center is 240 acres, medical district 186
