According to reports from the East Montgomery County Fire Department, on March 4, at around 11am, units were dispatched to a structure fire in the 15000 block of Firetower Road. Caney Creek Fire & Rescue Engine 82 arrived first on location to find a travel trailer heavily involved. East County Engine 154 arrived next and provided water to the attack pumper. The fire was tapped out holding Engine 81 and Engine 154, all other units were returned to service. A civilian was transported by MCHD EMS for smoke inhalation. MCFMO is investigating the cause of the fire.
