That song took me back in time...
Do you ever hear a song that instantly brings back a memory? This morning we were in the car, listening to one of the oldie stations on XM radio. They played the theme song of the original Mickey Mouse Club ( circa 1950-ish) That show was re-aired on tv in the early 70's, and my son LOVED it. As I heard that music this morning, for a fleeting moment, I saw my little blonde headed 3 year old standing in front of the tv, joyously singing and dancing. Thanks for the memories, Sirius XM!

@Bloom : I learned just this past week that Roy, one of the two adults on that show, was actually a Disney cartoonist. I'm not sure what qualified Jimmie Dodd as the other adult. Boys in those days couldn't spell America, but they could spell Funicello. (And Encyclopedia.)

Interesting. I don't think I ever watched the show as a child, but I loved watching it with my son when it was re-aired in the 70s. Another rerun he liked was Fury.
