Site Prep Appears to Be Underway for Valley Ranch H-E-B Project Visible site activity is now underway at the future H-E-B-anchored Commerce District in Valley Ranch. The property has been silt fenced, and large amounts of dirt appear to be staged at the site as crews prepare for additional ground work. The project, located southwest of Hwy. 59 and the Grand Parkway, is planned to include a 120,000-square-foot H-E-B with curbside pickup, a fuel station and a car wash. The store is expected to open next fall as part of the first phase of the larger Commerce District development.

Definitely not going on the other side of the Grand Parkway. There is not enough room...they'd have to cover up the lake, and even then it wouldn't be enough. I've overlaid a cutout from the satellite image of the existing HEB on Northpark, onto the Valley Ranch map to see size comparisons, in purple...the lower one is where the HEB is going. Also, consider, the new Valley Ranch HEB is going to be about 25% bigger than what you see here...there's just not enough space to put it on the other side of the Grand Parkway. Also, the address numbering system matched when I checked it, to be built on southern side of Grand Parkway, due to even/odd addresses all being on the same side of the street with each other.
