Is that one of those Benihana-style cook-at-your-table performance places? (I hope not.)

@otto I don't think they do the group table performance thing, just the bar thing. Open bar area so you can watch them cook.

But, feel free to share your Benihana-style experience...now I'm curious Emoticon

They do have the Benihana-style hibachi available, but you can choose either hibachi or a regular booth.

We really enjoyed it!

We tried it last night. At 6:45 they were packed! We opted for hibachi, and there was Beninhana-style "entertainment" -- volcano, choo-choo, beating heart, flipping eggs, etc. ad nauseum. I'd sure prefer it if they just cooked. I should have asked if the menu items normally served at the hibachi can be ordered from a regular booth. I doubt it.

It was the first time we'd eaten out in months. I enjoyed it despite the tomfoolery, but DW took ill, and had to take her meal home in a go-box.

@otto Oh, how sad for your wife; especially if eating out is something special you enjoy infrequently. Everyone should probably, similarly NOT eat out too much Emoticon

That happened to my daughter one time; we had all planned an occasion out and she started looking ill about the time we placed our orders and she tried to keep it to herself but really couldn't. She was really bummed out about "ruining" the occasion. Which she didn't, but you couldn't tell her that.

I hope she is feeling better now and there is always a next time. Emoticon
