A 30-minute program that engages toddler-aged children (aged 18 months-3 years) through stories, songs, and simple crafts.
 
Duplo® Fun
Tuesday, Jun. 27, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
Join us for an hour of learning, building, and fun with Mega Lego Blocks!
 
Teen Build a Better Snack
Tuesday, Jun. 27, 3:00 PM
Teens are welcome to join us for a program about creating fun and delicious snacks presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office. This summer reading program is intended for teens ages 13-17.
 
Lego® Fun
Tuesday, Jun. 27, 4:30 PM-5:30 PM
Join us for an hour of creativity, building, and fun with Legos!
 
Preschooler Storytime
Wednesday, Jun. 28, 10:00 AM-10:30 AM
A 30-minute program that engages preschool-aged children (aged 3-6 years) through stories, songs, and simple crafts.
 
Baby & Me Time
Wednesday, Jun. 28, 11:00 AM-11:15 AM
A 15-minute program that engages caregivers and babies* (aged 0-18 months) through songs, nursery rhymes, fingerplays, and an interactive story.
 
Teen Bridge Building Competition
Wednesday, Jun. 28, 3:00 PM
Teens will use Lego® blocks to construct a bridge that meets specific criteria. After a designated amount of time, teens will step away from their creation, and we will see who constructed the sturdiest bridge. This summer reading program is intended for teens ages 13-17.
 
Young At Art
Wednesday, Jun. 28, 4:00 PM-5:00 PM
This program focuses on a new art form each week that you can make at the library and take home. Recommended for children aged 5-12.
 
Family Game Night
Thursday, Jun. 29, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Children of all ages and their families are invited to come play with the library’s stash* of board games, playing cards, and dominoes in the children’s department.
*Participants are welcome to bring their own favorite board games and playing cards to play with as long as they are properly labeled with the owner’s name. However, the library will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen games/game pieces.
 
All events are free and open to the public!
