Did a quick road trip today DH and I take it upon ourselves to keep silk flowers on family graves. We take pride in doing it because we know how our mothers felt about that. It's really bothered DH that we haven't been able to make the 200 mile trip to do that because of him being sick. So we made the trip today. We trashed the faded Poinsettias and replaced them with bright spring flowers, and feel accomplished that we got it done. The drive itself was pretty boring, but I could not believe the road construction! We take 59N to Lufkin, and then stay on 69. They're really starting to work on I69 between here & Lufkin. I'm sure that will take years.
