Porter Area IHOP Planned for Applebee's Dual-Brand Expansion
Porter Area IHOP Planned for Applebee's Dual-Brand Expansion Plans have been registered to renovate and expand the existing IHOP at 23681 Church Street in Porter into a dual-brand IHOP and Applebee's restaurant. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the project would add 836 square feet to the current 4,102-square-foot building, creating a total space of approximately 4,938 square feet. The addition is planned to provide an expanded dining area. The privately funded renovation is estimated to cost $150,000. Construction is currently listed to begin on August 17th, 2026, with completion projected for September 17th, 2026. The project remains in the registered stage, and details about an opening date have not yet been announced.
