Picking Your Own Berries It's blackberry-picking season again, which is one of my favorite times of year, so we headed over to Blakelock's Berry Farm over the weekend to check out this year's crop. For those of you not familiar with Blakelock's, it's a berry farm between here and Conroe (actually in Grangerland). They offer a thornless, pick-your-own experience that'll run you a mere $3.50/lb for your haul. They also provide the containers for you for FREE. There were several other people at the farm getting their berry fix as well...Including these ninja-like, pint-sized quick-pickers...I think they were pros.
