Possible Fentanyl Exposure Under Investigation in New Caney

Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4 is investigating a possible fentanyl poisoning that occurred Monday afternoon, October 28, 2025, at the RB Tullis Library in New Caney.
Around 2:25 p.m., two county employees reported being approached by a woman in the library parking lot who handed them a damp, pink-tinted flyer. About thirty minutes later, both began experiencing symptoms such as shaky hands, dizziness, and hot flashes.
The employees took the flyer to the Precinct 4 Office, where it tested positive for fentanyl. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
Authorities urge residents to stay alert and avoid accepting items from unknown individuals. If you encounter anything suspicious, report it to law enforcement immediately.
