Have an MCAS foster and don’t see it in their album? Touch base with the foster coordinator and once your foster is cleared for adoption then send your best pictures and kennel card information to the volunteer marketing team.
The Montgomery County Animal Shelter has an album of dogs in foster homes waiting to be adopted, and those interested in fostering a dog can reach out to their new foster coordinator by email at [email protected]. Front leg amputees can live long healthy lives just fine, so people need not be concerned about adopting them.
@TownHubAdmin : Nice they have the fostered dogs gathered up - adult dog in foster is a great option for people who have concerns about any particular behavioral or personality trait.
If anyone's wondering about Ellie, tripods can get around great! The front leg amputation is harder on them than a hind (like my Ranger's) but front amputees too can live long healthy lives just fine. And they never feel self conscious about looking different. Just don't plan on extreme frisbee.
