Splendora Police Department's Annual Blue Santa Toy Drive Successful
On December 16th at The Splendora Police Department's annual Blue Santa Toy Drive, Chief Wieghat with the the City of Splendora Police Department and the Splendora Police Officer Association provided numerous families with Christmas presents. They were able to provide multiple families and children in need a very Merry Christmas. Chief Wieghat feels very strongly about this event and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. They cannot thank you enough to everyone who helped donate and provided all the gifts, toys, and bicycles toward this event and make this possible. They would also like to thank everyone who came out and volunteered at Friday's event and helped make this event run smoothly. Chief Wieghat’s UAS division helped cover this event to ensure everyone safety from the air above.
A total of 160 families and 400 children were provided for in Friday's event!!
