Splendora Police Department Arrests 2 for DWIFrom Splendora Police Department:Splendora Officers were patroling the area of US Highway 59 North of Fm 2090 when they observed major guardrail damage and debris in the roadway with a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Checking the welfare of the driver, an investigation ensued for DWI. While conducting the investigation, one of the driver’s family members arrived on scene. It was quickly learned this person had been drinking as well. A separate DWI investigation took place. Both males were placed into custody at the completion of the investigations and taken to the Montgomery County Jail. If you’re going to drink, don’t drive and don’t go to the rescue of your intoxicated family member while driving intoxicated.
