@Bloom : I wonder if the store clerks are instructed to not stop them? Everyone has a gun these days and is very willing to use it. Sad.

@Cbear : They likely are. Having an employee who's probably paid around 10 bucks an hour risk their lives for store product is generally not advised.

Agree! I stopped and spoke to a policeman at Walmart couple weeks ago, who had been on a call & I asked how the general crime activity was going in the area. He said, " It's "Walmart" be it Porter, New Caney or surrounding areas. Criminals have no to very little moral compass."

That's just terrible. And there's nothing they can do about it. They're not going to go after them and risk their lives and they shouldn't. But thieves have gotten so brazen now

Well.... I think Walmart should pay for more off duty police men at all doors. 2 per door for the Holidays. If they don't mind them taking the items, then Que Sera Sera

You'd think trey's do that, wouldn't you? Many retired LEOs and military vets would be happy for the job.

I'm so sick of the criminal scum. I was buying something the other day in Florida and the cashier and I were talking and she told me DeSantis rules with an iron fist. Naturally I had to inquire more what she meant, and she told me how he doesn't stand for the crime that is all over the country, and while issues here they actually try to do something.Nice to hear

@Jt88888888 , "they actually try to do something" -- like sending a plane to Texas to fly illegal border-crossers to Martha's Vineyard. That helps a whole lot.

No. 2 It's a horrible shame that places like Martha's Vineyard complained about a couple bus loads of illegals that they could actually help if they had a mind to. After all, they are the well-to-do! But they complain about that when we have to deal with millions of the illegals coming across the border. Costs both the states along the border and the U. S. Gov't .... That's me and you! If "you" want to house, feed, cloth and educate them, then help yourself, but don't expect everyone else to.
