As someone who recently moved to Texas, I find this tradition a little odd, especially when the mums are so large that you can't see the girls' dresses 😆 (please don't hate me 🙈)

@garfieldgurl : Lol!! My dds mums were so big. They would light up they play music they had little teddy bear some footballs. Their boyfriends football numbers would be on there. The girls love them lol

@jjjj : The pickle festival was a big success they said. So glad to hear that. They said the crowd was huge this year. I've heard people that went said they had such a good time

@jjjj : After reading the article you shared, I remembered hearing somewhere that they also wear mums in states surrounding TX, which I guess it makes sense.
