Two Teachers of the Year RecognizedNew Caney ISD recognized its two Teachers of the Year during this year’s Battle Line on 59 football game. NCISD Secondary Teacher of the Year, Cristina Sizemore, teaches Spanish and Italian at New Caney High School and has 11 years of service as a teacher. NCISD Mary Blanco teaches art at Bens Branch Elementary and has 12 years of service with the District. Blanco was also recently named the Region 6 Elementary Teacher of the Year.
