Raising Canes coming to Valley Ranch

Raising Cane's filed permits to build a restaurant located at Eagle Dr. and Grand Parkway/99 in Valley Ranch Town Center across from Whataburger.

Construction is set to begin in October with a 2023 opening date!

That's good. I dislike going to the back of Kingwood for it. Well I only go there if I am already back that way.

@botanylover : I always get the 3 finger combo. They have a larger one, but that's plenty for me. There's 3 chicken fingers, fries, dipping sauce, bread, & drink. DH loves the bread so much that I usually give him mine, since I try to avoid bread. Their menu is very simple, which allows them to fill orders super fast.

A new one's coming to Humble too, near the intersection of Kenswick Drive on 1960. They're popping up all over these days, they no longer seem special.

Have y'all tried Slim Chicken? It's so good it doesn't have a lot of batter on it but their chicken is just so tasty. And they have a jar that has dessert in it that is so good

@jjjj : If you like fried chicken tenders, you'll like this one (hopefully). I don't usually like chicken tenders because they "tend" to be too dry and would need a lot of dipping sauce. But Cane's is pretty good, not dry and I barely need any sauce. But I haven't been to one in a while.

@Sweetie : Never been there either, but I like that they offer (or did in the ad when they first opened that 494 one) chicken-and-Texas-shaped waffle! Don't usually see those outside of motel breakfasts
