Move Over! It's the Law!

Your local Constables would like to remind motorists to move over and help to keep everyone safe during this summer holiday!

The Constables urge drivers to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles. If moving over isn’t an option, please slow down! Help protect those who protect you!

The law applies to police vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, tow trucks and Texas department of transportation vehicles.

And as a general rule of thumb move over when any vehicle is stopped. Drives me crazy how often someone with open lanes to move over decides instead to ride right next to a person trying to change a tire.

@TownHubAdmin : It it amazing how many people either don't know to do this or just ignore it. Someone's life and or house is in danger. I always move over if I can.
