Husband charged in murder of Atascocita woman

Murder charges have been filed in the case of an Atascocita woman found deceased on the morning of 5/11/22.
HCSO units responded to a shooting at the 17500 blk of Holroyd, near W Lake Houston Pkwy, in Atascocita.
Units found an adult female unresponsive with a possible stab wound. Female was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HCSO Homicide Investigators have charged Leonardo Pimental-Lopez (27) with murder in the stabbing death of his wife Nelaine Castellano (21).

Investigators urge anyone with info about his whereabouts to contact HCSO Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100. Please do not approach the suspect.

Lopez is described as a hispanic male with an approximate height of 5’0” weight of 150 pounds. He has slicked black hair and a tattoo on at least one arm. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with floral designs and camo pants.
The couple, said to be from Cuba, had been staying with relatives at the home.

@Cbear : Absolutely it would be better. Hes probably a little hot head. He stabbed his wife in the foyer. I wonder if she was trying to get away
