HCSO Sergeant Ramon Gutierrez killed by suspected drunk driverHarris County Sheriff's Office lost another of their own on 1/23/22.20 year veteran, Sergeant Ramon Gutierrez, a 20 year veteran of the HCSO, was killed last night. Sgt. Gutierrez and other officers were escorting a heavy load last night in the 8900 block of E. Sam Houston Pkwy North near Tidwell when he was struck by a suspected drunk driver who fled the scene and later detained.He is survived by his wife and three kids.
