Pretty soon it will be time to send our little ones back to their respective schools following the summer break. That means back-to-school shopping is almost in full swing, and the annual tax holiday is the official starting point.

This year's Sales Tax Holiday is this weekend, August 9 - 11. As in previous years, the law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks priced less than $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend. Below are specific items and the category they fall under.
