East Montgomery County residents will again get a chance to safely clear their garage, attic and backyard when county officials host another "Heavy Trash Day" this weekend.
The next heavy trash day will take place on Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Area residents can drop off oversized, heavy or cumbersome household items at any of these four locations:
• 15901 Tram Road, Splendora
• Precinct 4 Offices, 23628 Roberts Road, New Caney
• Chateau Woods MUD, 10224 Fairview Drive, Conroe
• Old Grangerland Community Building, FM 2090 and FM 3083
Acceptable items include boats, motorized equipment, exercise equipment, televisions and monitors, most appliances and most other household equipment (mattresses, furniture, etc..). Passenger size tires will also be accepted.
**Items NOT allowed include: paint, chemicals, oil, tree limbs/vegetation or traditional household garbage** Seniors or disabled residents in need of assistance can call 281-577-8919 (option #3) to arrange for pick up at their home.
