The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who pulled a fast one on a store employee while paying for some laptops at the New Caney Wal-Mart.
According to reports from MCSO, on October 6, 2018, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 20310 US Highway 59, New Caney in reference to a theft.
Deputies were advised that a white male suspect entered Wal-Mart and selected two laptops for purchase. The suspect then approached the electronics counter where he gave the cashier 19 $100 bills for the purchase of the laptops. The total cost of the laptops was $1,944.00. The cashier counted the money and noticed the suspect was short $44.00 for the purchase.
