The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a couple of suspects who stole items from the Walmart in New Caney.
According to reports from investigators, on August 12, 2018, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to the New Caney Wal-Mart (20310 US Highway 59) for a theft that occurred the week before.
When Deputies arrived, they spoke to Wal-Mart management who advised that the below pictured suspects had stolen three hover boards from the store back on August 1.
Surveillance footage shows one of the suspects (blue shirt) being dropped off at the front of the store by another black male (white shirt) who was driving a white Chevrolet Suburban. The suspect then enters WalMart, proceeds to the sporting good section and selects three "hover boards" from the shelf. The suspect then heads to the Garden Center where he exits the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect places the three stolen hover boards into the Chevrolet Suburban.
Video surveillance also shows the driver of the Chevrolet Suburban park the vehicle and enter the Wal-Mart through the Garden Center. Once inside, the driver proceeds to the housewares section where he selects a vacuum cleaner from the shelf. After walking around the store for a while, the suspect leaves the vacuum cleaner and returns to the Chevrolet Suburban at which time the vehicle exits the parking lot.
If you recognize these suspects or this vehicle please contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5800.
