ISO of Host Family for: Ettore, exchange student from Italy, 11t

ISO of Host Family for: Ettore, exchange student from Italy, 11th grader, can attend any local high school, with their approval. Let me know if you'd like to know more about him. He's likes karate, golf, soccer, music, traveling, play the drums, and attends Catholic church with his family, has a sister 3 years younger who he's helped with her homework, and the family has two cats. He did volunteer work with the elderly at a retirement home.

By local, do you mean just in NCISD, or can it be Humble, Spring, etc..?

@NewCaneyDotCom : For Ettore from Italy and Lincoln from Hong Kong, the unique case of having dual citizenship helps for school enrollment. Some districts have waivers (such as a limit of just 5 or 6 exchange students per school year; others do not have any waiver but might have a deadline of August 1st). Once a family applies, I submit to the school to match family with student with school before we learn if everything is a 'go'.

(short answer: yes, NCISD, Humble ISD, Spring ISD, Conroe ISD, Willis ISD, Montgomery ISD, etc).

@carol888 : Thank you for supporting the program. We have all kinds of host families, but surely, it takes being able to offer the student their own bed, even if sharing a room with another youth, adding an extra seat at the table for meals at home, helping the student catch the bus for school, and offer some rides to school functions or carpooling options if a sport/band/hobby is involved. The opportunity is rare and quite one-of-a-kind with the unique host, the unique student, the unique overall experience. I enjoy being a Local Coordinator by being the back-up host to all the students on our program if any need arises. I.S.O. host families for males from Europe, Asia & Latin America. Many of these males have siblings & are good with kids, good in school, with good health & ready to be in a host family that will embrace having a host son. Many females get placed faster as a common preference, but please consider the wonderfulness of a host brother in your household. One of my favorite students was Tim from Germany; we did not host him, but the kids & I miss him being here & look forward to him coming back to visit his host family.
