The two pizza restaurants coming to the Valley Ranch shopping center have been making progress with both putting up external signs recently.

Pizza Cucinova is a new "fast casual" pizza chain with several locations in Ohio and two locations in Texas (Katy and Cypress) that was started by the owner of the Sbarro's pizza chain.

RC's Pizza is an independent restaurant that is branching out from their long time restaurant in Kingwood. RC's offers New York style pizza and pasta.

The ShopVRTC website shows Pizza Cucinova opening some time in May, and RC's Pizza opening in July 2018.

Has anyone here been to either Pizza Cucinova or RC's Pizza lately?

I haven't. Do those businesses deliver like PapaJohns or are they more of a dine-in type thing? What is considered fast casual? Anybody?...enlighten me...

@Sellers001 : Fast casual tends to be better quality food than fast food, but no waiter service. Think Panera Bread or Chipotle, for example. I can't say how closely this Pizza Cucinova restaurant follows that idea, though.

@NewCaneyDotCom : Ordered Pickup from Cucinova 6 -10" pizza they were good , only one I had a complaint about was the gluten free veggie pizza crust was soggy . It was fast pickup . I really think they need to get delivery service .

Yeah little one here could do pizza daily but yuck so I only get it once in a while to make her happy.

Pizza Cocinova was interesting. It's kinda like MOD in KW, priced about the same but the manager there has some serious eye-roll issues.
