I'll never understand how someone can derive pleasure from stuff like this. According to reports from MCSO, on March 31, 2018, at 3:05 pm, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 132 Gill Rd (near Cleveland) in reference to an animal cruelty call. When Deputies arrived on scene, they observed numerous male suspects around a metal arena next to the residence. Once the males spotted the Deputies, one of the them fled into the woods. The remaining male suspects were detained.During the investigation, 12 live roosters and 18 dead roosters were found on location. Deputies also discovered numerous pieces of cockfighting paraphernalia and evidence that showed the males were involved in a cockfighting operation. Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Livestock Unit completed a seizure affidavit and took custody of the evidence and the remaining roosters. Montgomery County Animal Control arrived on location and took custody of the dead roosters so a necropsy could be completed. Deputies arrested two suspects for felony cockfighting and one male for evading.
