New Caney ISD has announced it will be closed for at least Tuesday, January 16 because of the impending winter weather. www.facebook.com/new caneyisd/"Due to severe winter weather in the forecast and potentially deteriorating road conditions throughout the day, New Caney ISD and all district schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16. Also, all extracurricular activities and athletic events scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed.The district will monitor weather conditions throughout Tuesday. Should conditions necessitate a change in schedule for Wednesday, January 17, updates will be posted to the district and campus websites as well as the district’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. New Caney ISD will also utilize its call system to inform parents and staff of any necessary schedule changes."
