On 07/03/17, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit received a tip form a party goer that a video existed of the vehicle responsible for the death of Ray Jasso. After reviewing the video, registration information was obtained, which led Detective’s to a residence located in the 600 block of Frisco St., in Houston, where the driver of the vehicle was identified as Raul Najera, H/M, DOB 06/17/1992. He was not on location. However, the vehicle, a 2002 grey, Chevrolet Suburban, was seized at that time for processing by MCSO.

Simultaneously, another tip leading to the identity of the male subject with tattoos on both sides of his face was received. An investigation confirmed his identity as Emmanuel Olivares, H/M, also of Houston. He was interviewed by MCSO Detectives and at this time is only believed to have been a passenger in the vehicle. Charges against Emmanuel Olivares are not pending at this time.
