Rock the Ranch Music Festival announces the final line up of its two-day music festival with the addition of All American Rejects, LeCrae and New Respects. This fresh talent rounds out a weekend of great music, food and fun at Houston’s newest entertainment venue, the Valley Ranch Town Center Amphitheater in New Caney, Texas. The festival takes place May 12 and 13, 2017, with the main stage featuring headliners Jason Derulo and Flo Rida.
On Friday, Nashville up-and-comers New Respects kicks the weekend off with their unique funky pop sounds. Porter, Texas native Sundance Head will wow the crowd with the same verve that won him top honors on The Voice Season 11 last December. Power-pop/alt-rock legends All American Rejects will shepherd us into the evening. This amazing night is topped off with hip-hop/R&B superstar Jason Derulo.
The fun continues on Saturday with the ever-popular “I Love the 90’s Tour” returning with a whole new line up, featuring Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, Color Me Badd, Tone Lōc and Young MC. Grammy Award winner and Billboard chart topper LeCrae brings his inspirational hip-hop sounds to Valley Ranch, and Flo Rida will rock the main stage with his raucous rap skills. On the second stage, Sundance Head will close out the festival with a late encore performance especially for the hometown crowd.
Rock the Ranch Music Festival promises an exciting kick off to the Houston area summer music season. The festival will feature a BBQ Cook-off sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers Association. Thirty-five competitors will participate in the contest. BBQ lovers and music fans get to enjoy great food and join in on the judging in the “Fan Favorite” category.
Festival highlights also include an amazing freestyle motocross show four times per day, featuring the sport’s most exciting athletes. The festival midway will include thrilling rides, and the vendors’ alley will feature local food and artisan vendors and street performers.
