I was surprised how many were charged with 'impeding breath' or injury to elderly. That's really MEAN. Hope they're all arrested soon.

Soooo many of these are assault and abuse of elderly. Disicable.

@Bloom : Wow... Wonder how the people fighting for gun control are going to defend that? No guns, we'll just choke you to death. Such sad happenings of today. ...and I have no words that can be put in print for the disgusting and cowardly assaults on elderly that can't defend themselves. Sentencing should be at least double for elderly abuse because the elderly do not heal as quickly as younger people, therefore suffering more. ...and that goes for mental abuse as well:
Just because a person doesn't put hands on you doesn't mean they aren't abusive. ABUSE IS CONTROL, BLATANT DISRESPECT, AND HURTFUL WORDS, EMOTIONAL ABUSE IS WRONG!

@Cbear : I can sure count myself lucky!! I live with 2 of my sons, both in their early 50's, and they are so good to me. As some of you know, I broke my instep on 12/22 and can't walk on my foot, but the boys don't lose patience despite having to take care of me, go to work at their night jobs, taking care of the fur babies, and the house (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc). One gets home around 3AM, the other at 10am. They try to get some sleep in until it starts again. I'd say they have their hands full, but they are cheerful and caring of this old biddy. But my foot is healing and I'll be able to help soon. God blessed me with 2 wonderful sons.
